I have been involved in publishing for over 30 years as either as an author or an author and illustrator.....and have loved every minute of this time. The books published over these years have been in  Educational and Biblical children's books  with over 80 books published.

 

In the beginning...

I first met Angus Hudson of Angus Hudson Ltd., in the 80s and with Scripture Union they published my first series of children's books: "Thank you God for a day in the country/seaside/town" etc. Angus Huson co-editioned these books.

 

Since then I have worked with Hodder and Stoughton, Harper Collins Books, WH Smith, Autumn Publishing, Byway Books, Scripture Union and Lion Books/Candle Publishing.

 

Inspired by...

I worked for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem in Israel as a designer/artist over many years in the 80s and 90s during the Feast of Tabernacles. I was greatly inspired as I travelled throughout Israel, discovering the world of the Bible (see my website of paintings www.eiragoldsworthy.com). 

And it was there that the idea came - to start writing and illustrating Biblical books for children.  Now and over the years I have loved  presenting the Gospel and Bible stories to children around the world!

 

I love to paint the illustrations bright and colourful.
